ST50 heads are a great choice for a stock type 302 engine.
They have high flow-high velocity intake and exhaust ports
that create a very flat power curve needed to a street car.
The use 1.94/1.60 valves and will have sufficient piston to
valve clearance on stock 5.0 shortblocks with an aftermarket
camshaft. ST50 heads are emissions legal. They are available
for use pedestal or stud rocker arms, please specify when
ordering which you prefer. Ported ST50 cylinder heads work
well on 331 to 347 cid engines. We have used our Stage 3 heads
on an emissions legal 331 that made 460hp with factory style
EFI. We also offer a very trick version of this head for NMRA
Pure Street and Real Street racers...call for info.
